Cell Phone Policy

Cell phones may be used before and after school on campus.

 

Cell phones that go off or are used during class, including PE will be taken by the instructor and given to an administrator who will hold the phone until the end of the school day.

 

Playing games, taking pictures, text messaging during class time is not allowed and the phone will be confiscated.

 

No phone is to be used during passing time between classes, in the locker rooms, bathrooms, etc.

 

The school will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged phones. Students need to secure their own phones.

 

This policy will remain in effect as long as students honor this privilege and act responsibly. According to district policy, the principal has the ability to institute any changes in this policy if phones become disruptive to the educational process.
