Positive Behavior Support
We use the criteria outlined in the discipline foundation policy to develop Safe, Responsible, and Respectful Behaviors in the classroom and school-wide. Our students are taught expected behaviors in class and during grade level meetings.
Panther Paw Print identifies on a weekly basis, students with Safe, Responsible, and Respectful Behaviors by having teachers/staff nominate those students who show positive behaviors. The students are then recognized over the PA system. This strategy promotes positive behaviors in students that supports teachers’ instruction and directly impacts student learning in the classroom.
