Greetings,

Change of plans: Starting this week your work will be completed in Aleks, another online math program.  Do not worry if last week you completed work on Khan Academy, I am giving you credit.  The Khan class will be open for extra practice. The switch is due to the fact that it has been a struggle to keep track of the lessons completed on Khan Academy by each individual student.  Aleks will give me a better overview of your progress.  

The goal this week will be to log into Aleks.  Start the initial knowledge test which every time that it is completed it will be worth 3 topics and successfully complete 7 topics (worth one point each).  The total goal is 10 topics for this week.  

 

Here are the directions to log into Aleks:

 

1.  Go to lms.lausd.net

2.  Login with your lausd email and password.

3.  Click on Courses on the toolbar on the upper left side.

4.  Click on your period for your math class.

5.  Click on McGraw Hill Education that is on the left hand side of the page toward the bottom)

6.  Click on Launch App.

7.  Click on 2019-CC Math 7-B.
